The Rotary Club of Athabasca is active in the community providing funding support to this gazebo, the nearby stage and a clock on the walk along 50th Avenue that borders the park.

The gazebo is a relatively simple structure with three benches that look out on to the park. A quick look over the shoulder and the river is there, often with boats on it fishing and occasionally a river boat or two racing up or downstream.

The gazebo has three benches and comfortably seats six, but additional people could easily seek shelter here from the sun or rain. On the park side of the gazebo a small plaque is found indicating the donation by the Rotary Club.
