This clock was a gift and centennial project from the Rotary Club of Athabasca in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the province of Alberta.

The clock was dedicated on September 1, 2005. The clock has a simple face with roman numerals indicating each of the hours. An outer ring shows the minutes with the minute hand reaching almost to the ring. The Rotary logo is found in the centre of the clock.

The clock has a small sign indicating that it is was placed by the Rotary Club of Athabasca.

As a centennial project this clock is an important part of the park that runs between the Athabasca River valley and 50th Avenue near 50th Street (Main Street).
