The Veterans of Foreign Wars has a Post in Fallon, Nevada. It is an active Post, as evidenced by two news articles I was able to locate for recent community service activities performed by the Post members, first where they placed flags in local cemeteries, for Veterans, on Memorial Day 2012, and also for the presentation of Teacher of the Year to fourth-grade teacher Teresa Ellis, who was recognized due to her citizenship education in her classroom and school. Ellis has been a teacher at West End for 13 years. when she recently had her class interview military veterans and then write a small biography on each of them.
