"Built for Christopher Stratton, a centretown businessman, this building is a fine example of the evolution and diversity of domestic architecture in Ottawa during the 19th century. The round-headed windows evoque the italianate style, while the later, elaborate entrance and porch are typical of the Queen Anne revival style.
Designated Heritage Property 1993"
