Adams Cottage - Circa 1878
The first owner of the cottage was Richard Owens. In 1905 the McSkimming family lived here. McSkimming was the local baker. In 1930 William Adams, also a baker became the owner. The Adams family lived here until 1978, when it was purchased by the Arrowtown Borough council and leased. The cottage was purchased by the Queenstown Lakes District Council in 2007 and restored by the Arrowtown Trust.
