The sign is on a pair of poles on the side of the Warwick Furnace Road. There is not much to see near the sign. There is a path that leads into the woods that is not marked. I am unsure if this is a public access as there were no signs. There are the ruins of a stone building nearby. There is an official PA Historical Marker by the same name that is located a 1 1/2 miles away at the end of Warwick Furnace Road on a busier street.

The text on the marker is:

WARWICK FURNACE Built here
1737 by Mrs. Samuel Nutt
was the third blast furnace in
Chester Co. The first Franklin
Stove was cast here and also
cannon and cannon balls for
the Revolutionary Army. Its
last iron was made in 1867.
Marked 1910 by Chester Co Historical Society
Group that erected the marker: Chester Co Historical Society
