Der Park Schönbusch (auch Schöner Busch oder französisch Bois-Jolie) bei Aschaffenburg ist einer der frühesten Landschaftsgärten Süddeutschlands.
Der Mainzer Erzbischof und Kurfürst Friedrich Karl von Erthal ließ ab 1775 das ehemalige kurfürstliche Wildgehege zu einem Park umgestalten. Es wurden künstliche Seen und Wasserläufe ausgehoben, Hügel aufgeschüttet und Wege angelegt. Zur Vollendung der Gartenanlage wurde 1783 Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell hinzugezogen worden. Sckell konnte hier erstmals die in England erlernten Grundsätze der landschaftlichen Gestaltung in einem als Ganzes neu angelegten Park anwenden. Er hinterließ einen der bedeutendsten Landschaftsgärten Deutschlands.
Eines der bekanntesten Bauwerke ist die "Rote Brücke" am Nordende des Parks, sie überquert einen kleinen Zulauf zum Oberen See.

The Archbishop and Elector of Mainz, Friedrich Karl von Erthal remodelled from 1775 on the former electoral game reserve into a park. Artificial lakes and waterways were dug out, hills piled up and
narrow trails created. For the completion of the gardens Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell has been consulted in 1783. Sckell was able to apply here for the first time the in England learned principles
of landscape design in a whole new park. He left behind one of the most important landscape gardens in Germany.
One of the most recognizable structures is the "Rote Brücke" (Red Bridge) at the north end of the park, it crosses a small inlet to the Oberer See (Lake Superior).
