Visitors to the Inner Boat Basin within Crescent City Harbor will notice a number of plaques and dedication in this parking area. This includes a chainsaw carving of a mermaid by well-known chainsaw artist Ken Kaiser. This particular memorial planter is dedicated in memory of Ann Hanson who lived from 1914 to 1993. The marble inscription says nothing else and after doing some online research, I could find no information on her, so unfortunately, I'm at the mercy of fellow waymarkers who may be able to share any additional information about her life.
