"Edificada no início do século XVI, a Capela de São Gregório é um pequeno santuário de planta centralizada, de estrutura octogonal rematada por cúpula, ao gosto renascentista. A capela-mor, de secção rectangular, completa o edifício, e a esta adossa-se a sacristia, quadrangular.
A fachada principal é precedida por galilé, assente sobre colunas toscanas de fuste liso. A porta é decorada com elementos manuelinos, semelhantes à decoração das janelas da Sala do Capítulo do Convento de Cristo.
A nave e a sacristia são cobertas por cúpulas, e as paredes da nave são decoradas com dois painéis de azulejos, provenientes do Convento das Trinas de Lisboa, representando cenas da vida de São Gregório.
A capela-mor, coberta por abóbada de barrete de clérigo, possui cercadura de azulejos enxaquetados. O altar é encimado por três nichos, um deles com a imagem do padroeiro. "

Three sides of the church contain a church porch perched on Tuscan columns.
