This marker has a pile of rocks about 2-3 ft high along with a Witness post (that has been shot repeatedly) next to it.
Marks the Boundary between The City of Boulder City and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area
To get to it you would drive south on Buchanan all the way to just outside the gates for Mead Substation. you will see a dirt powerline road that heads east on your left take it east until you see the fence and signs for Burro Wash. You will see a small dirt road to the right just before the fence. Take that road (if 2WD just a few hundred yards then hike up the road to the top of the first small hill in front of you, if 4WD you can take it to top of the small hill) At the top of the hill if you look to the south east you will see the pile of rocks and what remains of the Witness Post. (about 250 ft away)
