This sculpture is located in a corner of and next to the dedicatory plaque for a new skate park on Mazatlan's malecon. The location of this work with the addition that the poster of this waymark found an identical sculpture in Tijuana (visit link) suggests that it is a three-dimensional logo for a sponsoring corporation...but which one?
There is no information at the site concerning the artist.
The piece appears to be made of painted steel and has multi-colored circular tubes arranged in a circular fashion around a larger single tube on the outer edge and two smaller tubes in the center.
