The Little India area of Singapore is one of the fun and relaxed locales to be found in the industrious nation of Singapore. Filled with cheap hotels, cheap restaurants, street markets, and a lively atmosphere—far from the numbing consumerism of Orchard Road, or at least in my opinion. Little India contains a host of hotels, places to relax for a few days, a week, before embarking on the next trip on the journey of life.
One of these establishments is here, the "Madras Hotel". Situated on one of the many side streets. This separates itself from its multitudinous competitors by the use of neon to advertise its presence. Rather tastefully done, if I say so myself.
