The LDS Church does not use the cross as a symbol on any of their churches or church steeples. Early steeples were almost identical in their designs and are easy to spot as LDS Church steeples from quite a distance. Newer LDS Churches have adopted more modern and varied designs but they are still usually fairly easy to spot and distinguish from some distance. This steeple is one of the modern designs and has a unique attractiveness.
