Dayton is a city of about 166,000 people, western Ohio, between Columbus and Cincinnati. It describes itself as "The Birthplace of Aviation", once being home to the powered flight inventors Wilbur and Orville Wright.
The flag of Dayton is primarily blue, with some white lettering and a white gear and a gray globe, showing just lines of latitude and longitude. Flying above the globe is a blue image of the Wright Flyer. The name Dayton is laid out vertically on the pole side of the flag.
This flag flies in right field of the Fifth Third Field, home of the Dayton Dragons Class A baseball team.
