I located this benchmark after seeing it listed on a topography map as BM 4359. The benchmark is in great shape. The benchmark was a little harder to spot because both it and the witness post were covered up by sagebrush. I was able to pull all shrubbery away for a good picture. It was also nice to see the original witness post in great condition from 1949. Of all the benchmarks I located along this road, this witness post was in the best condition of all of them.
