"Die Pfarrkirche „Maria Hilf“ in Wolkenstein: Das neugotische Langschiff aus dem 19. Jh. wurde im Jahre 1988 abgerissen und durch einen modernen Bau - in der Form eines Oktogons - ersetzt. Aus dem Jahre 1670 blieb hingegen der schöne Altarraum mit dem Gnadenbild von Lucas Cranach am Hauptaltar bestehen. Bereits 1503 ließ Wilhelm von Wolkenstein hier eine Kapelle zu „Maria Hilf“ bauen, die später mehrmals vergrößert wurde, da viele zu diesem geschätzten Wallfahrtsort pilgerten und noch heute pilgern.
