Der 1430m hohe Gipfel der Hochalm befindet sich südöstlich von Lenggries oberhalb des Isartals im oberbayerischen Landkreis Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. Trotz seiner geringen Höhe bietet der Berg ein fantastisches Panorama auf die umliegenden Gipfel, sowie auf das Isartal. So kann man unter anderem im Westen die Zugspitze, südwestlich das Karwendelgebirge, östlich das Rofan- sowie Mangfallgebirge und nördlich das Isartal sehen. Im Norden schweift der Blick über Lenggries, Bad Tölz bis hinein in die bayerische Landeshauptstadt München. So kann man bei gutem Wetter das Leuchten der Allianz-Arena erkennen. Links davon überblicken wir das gesamte Massiv der Benediktenwand.
Die Hochalm kann über mehrere einfache Wanderwege erreicht werden.
The 1430m high summit of the Hochalm is located southeast of Lenggries above the Isar valley in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. Despite its relatively low altitude the mountain offers a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding peaks, and the Isar valley. So you can see the Zugspitze in the West, the Karwendel Mountains in the southwest, the Rofan and the Mangfall Mountains in the east and the Isar valley in the north. In the north, the eye wanders over Lenggries, Bad Tolz up into the Bavarian capital of Munich. So you can see the lights of the Allianz Arena in good weather. To the left we see the whole of the solid Benediktenwand.
The Hochalm can be reached by several easy walking trails.
