This is the second of two places a short distance apart where you may have a runaway truck crossing your lane of traffic.

Along this stretch of Wyoming Highway 22 you are headed uphill toward the top of the pass. Runaway trucks coming down from the summit needed several places where they could access a gravel ramp that could bring them to a stop if their brakes failed. And the only place the highway department could put such ramps was on YOUR
side of the highway. And they had to do this in TWO places. So you are exposed to potential calamity twice. And this particular ramp is in the middle of a blind curve! These signs need to be about three times as big with lots of flashing lights!!
