The Hampstead Branch is part of the Montgomery City - County Library System. It serves the people in the area around a new subdivision on the east side of the city.

The Hampstead Neighborhood was developed with the idea of having stores and other services close to the homes. They were able to get a small branch established on their main street leading into the planned community. The library serves all patrons of the Montgomery City - County Library System, not just those in the neighborhood. The day I visited, there were several people using computers or sitting in chairs reading.
The library is located at 5252 Hampstead High Street, not far from Taylor Road. It was opened in 2010. It has free wi-fi provided by the city of Montgomery.
