This 4.4 mile trail meanders along rolling hills and prairie through Sharptail Ridge Open Space and Roxborough State Park.

Located along the edge of the Front Range and Colorado high prairie, this trail provides access to the scenic viewshed and wildlife habitat east of Roxborough State Park. The trail connects to Swallowtail Trail, Ringtail Trail, and Roxborough State Park. There is ample parking space and a log-cabin style picnic shelter at the trailhead. Dogs and bicycles are not allowed per Colorado Division of Wildlife regulations. Click the link to see the full area map (view PDF).

Directions:
From Highway 85 (Santa Fe) turn west on Titan Parkway and drive 2 miles to Roxborough Road; turn left and drive south for 3.7 miles on gravel road; Sharptail Ridge Trailhead on the left.
