This impressive statue is a life-sized representation of justice, the noblest of public virtues.

"Justice is the crowning glory of the virtues." — Marcus Tullius Cicero.

The statue stands in the enclosed atrium of the Ho Chi Minh court building. I am not entirely sure if the court building is in use, it looks semi-abandoned, but there are signs of life. Possibly, it will be refurbished and return to its intended use. I certainly hope so, it is one of the grand buildings of the city.

Ms Justice is depicted in a classical fashion, long robes, a wreath, and a big sword, but no sign of a set of scales. She stands at the base of an impressive stair case. Entry to the building is unrestricted (a few sleeping guards). The atrium is very dark, hence the photos are not the best.
