The name says it all: "Major Spring", that's the translation from Portuguese. Just a few meters from the spot there is the spring of Ribeira de Alte. And then, in the hot Summer days people who can't afford to go to the beach or are just feeling to lazy to drive those 25 km, come here, refreshing themselves in these waters. Altogether it's a great location to visit, with lots of features.
