This figure is near the entrance to a sporting goods store at a shopping mall.
The statue is bronze and is set on a concrete bench and sidewalk.
George Washington was a little over six feet tall. I estimate this representation of him is 5/6 life size.
This figure shows an older Washington. He is seated, cradling a tricorn hat on his lap with his right hand, and lifting the corner of the preamble to the Constitution with his left. He looks forward with a slight smile.
Washington is shown wearing a shirt, possibly with ruffs at the wrists. He wears a waistcoat, cravat, breeches, and knee-length boots. He also has on a great coat with cape but no cuffs; both are trimmed along the edge with a broad band.
Washington was a leader in the American Revolutionary War, and the first President of the United States.
