I noticed these two lions sitting peacefully on the footpath as I meandered through the quiet, far southern Chinese city of Pingxiang. They were outside a building with no title visible. I do not know if these chaps are permanent residents here, or merely waiting to move to a new locale. However, here they are.
The two are large maned, strong looking animals. They sit on plinths, and gaze outwards to the road.
