These Then(1899) and Now(2012) Photos are of Kakabeka Falls along the Kaministiquia River in Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park just off the Trans Canada Highway about 30 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Today nobody would be allow anywhere close to where all the men are standing in the original photo. There isn't even access to when the original photo was taken, a little lower in the gorge. Now access is limited to developed paths and boardwalks.
This 'now' photo was taken from the overlook near the visitors' centre on the west side of the river.
The original photo was taken by an unknown photographer on June 19, 1899.
