Who needs a car pool when you can have a bus pool!
This double decker bus was painted as a pool for the US swimming trials in Omaha Nebraska in 2012. It was leased for 5 weeks from the McCordsville barber shop where it was on display as part of the eclectic collection already on site and ferried to the trials in Nebraska. There during the trials parts of the bus were seen on NBC's coverage of the event. After the trials were completed the bus was hauled back to McCordsville and parked here where it remains on permanent display. The mural is of an Olympic sized swimming pool with divers plunging into the water for a race.
The significance of using the bus for the mural was that the winners of the trials will be headed to London (where the bus originated from) for the 2012 Olympics. The oposite side of the bus reads "Next stop London"
