The Medical unit is an important part of fire fighting. Sometimes they assist fire victims. These hot days, they may be called upon to assist their own. The county has over 30 such vehicles.

The paramedics also are critical at vehicle accidents.
Many members are part of Critical Emergency Response Teams. One hopes not to see them at work, but appreciate their training and concern for others.
For security of the equipment and because it is housed in the station, it is rare to see it standing still.
