Nicely restored two story cut stone building dating from 1874. Originally a general store, and currently a retail establishment, it has also been a newspaper office and a land office. The building is typical of these early commercial buildings being much deeper than it is wide. The two story front has high narrow windows, and visiting it gives one a feeling of what the past was like.
