The KUMU is the popular name for the KUnstiMUuseum (art museum) in Tallinn, Estonia. It is the newest of five museums that comprise the Art Museum of Estonia. A design competition was held and this modern design by the Finnish architect, Pekka Vapaavuori was selected. Construction began in 2003 and the building was complete in 2006. It replaced the nearby Kadriorg Palace as the main art museum building in Estonia. The building is built into a hill side in Kadriorg section of Tallinn. The museum complex features curved façade made of Estonian limestone, glass and copper.

The KUMU exhibits Estonian art from the 18th century to the present. The permanent collection includs works from the Soviet occupation period (1940–1991) which is characterized by Socialist Realism and Nonconformist styles. Temporary exhibits feature foreign and Estonian modern and contemporary art.

The stamp was issued by Estonia in 2006 to commemorate the opening of the KUMU art museum.
