The clock, that has three faces, is suspended over the footpath in Southampton Row. It is over the entrance to St Giles International and is supported by an arm from the building. The arm supports a roughly cube shape that houses the clock mechanism and the three identical faces.
Above each face is the wording "St Giles" and below is the word "International". The face, onto which the clock face is mounted, appears to be gold in colour and has some minor, relief decoration.
The face has a black bezel and three gold coloured rings. The outer two rings contain the minute marks between them that have the spaces between them cut out from a black background. The inner two rings have the hour marks between them. These are traditional Roman numerals for a clock and are coloured black.
The hands are black with a thing gold coloured stripe running along the central axis.
