"Die Linzer Grottenbahn ist eine Märchenwelt, die Besucher aller Altersgruppen begeistert und im Laufe der Jahre zu einer wichtigen Fremdenverkehrsattraktion von Linz geworden ist. Sie befindet sich am Pöstlingberg in einem der Befestigungstürme, die als Maximilianischer Befestigungsring die Stadt Linz umgeben.
Ein elektrisch angetriebener Zug in Drachengestalt namens Lenzibald fährt auf einer kreisförmigen Bahn durch den äußeren Ring des historischen Wehrturms. Bei zwei Rundfahrten werden einmal die links und einmal die rechts befindlichen Nischen beleuchtet, in denen Abenteuer aus dem Zwergenreich dargestellt werden. Ein dritter Durchgang mit Festbeleuchtung bildet den krönenden Abschluss.
Im Kellergewölbe befinden sich weitere Nischen mit lebensgroßen Szenen aus bekannten Märchen sowie eine detailgetreue Nachbildung des Linzer Hauptplatzes im Maßstab 1:7 mit den Geschäftslokalen aus der Zeit um die Jahrhundertwende vom 19. ins 20. Jahrhundert." - Quelle: Wikipedia
