Since 1874

This Fountain Erected By
The Junior Chamber Of Commerce
1939

The memorial was a drinking fountain with a bell from the Union Church on top.  It was originally placed honoring Hamilton Bell while he was still alive.  He lived from 1853 to 1947 and was involved in many enterprises in the development of Dodge City.
