A one-story brick building was built next to the county courthouse in Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia in the late 1930s as a WPA project. The small size of the building was designed to allow the courthouse to be the focal point.

In the 20th century, it housed offices for the voter registrar, juvenile court and county administrator. Currently it is the office of the county attorney.
