After reading the front page article about a year old coffee/tea shop on the west side of Vancouver in "The Columbian" on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, I decided to visit the place the next day. There was plenty of parking. A kiosk/bulletin board is located outside the main entrance to provide neighborhood information.

The front door of the almost century-old house opens into cozy rooms with comfy furniture, beige and black decor, a large fireplace and hardwood floors. Works by local artists are featured on the walls.

The shop offers early-morning coffee or tea, lunch, a light dinner or a glass of wine while enjoying live music. It has become a community gathering place.

Tea is either Tea bags: Chamomile herbal tea, Jasmine blossom green tea, Chai spice black tea, Moroccan mint green tea, Premium green tea, Earl grey black tea, English breakfast black tea or Wild raspberry hibiscus tea OR Loose-leaf Tea: Bombay Breakfast Organic Black Tea, Earl Grey Black Tea, Matcha Latte Green Tea, Feel Better Blend Organic Herbal Tea, Dark Forest Herbal Tea or Lavender Rose White Tea.

They offer Shareable Starters, Salads, Quiche, Sandwiches (cold or toasted) and a selection of delectable treats to go with your cuppa tea or coffee.
