Northwest Oklahoma City's Patience S. Latting library is the newest addition to the OKC Metro Library System. It is located just north of Lake Hefner, on 122nd just east of MacArthur. This is a very large facility (35,000 sq. ft), with a unique structural design (due to the building built on a hill).
On the south side of the building is a drive-thru book return, a very convenient feature not often seen at the metro libraries. Parking is plentiful at this new library. According to the library website, the cost to build this library was $8.2 million.
Visitors have access to 60 computers, two large meeting rooms, free wi-fi, and 156,000 materials available to patrons.
