The Pioneer Village located 13 miles off I80 in Minden NE "has over 50,000 items from every Human Endeavor" according to the brochure.
This place should be on your bucket list! We spent a whole day at the museum and could easily go back again the next day. It is as interesting as the Ford Museum and Greenfield village.
They have a hotel and camping on site and offer the second day free if you stay with them.

We are open every day of the year, including all major Holidays, except Christmas Day.
Winter hours: 9am - 4:30pm (7 days/week)
Summer hours: 8am - 6pm (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend).

Adult Admission is just $13.00 (tax included), $7.00 (tax included) for children 6 to 12 years old. Children 5 and under are free. Contact us for special group and school rates.
Pets are not allowed inside the museum.
