Benchmark disk stamped "PP&L Co. Mon No " and set in a round concrete monument - located at the SW corner of a PP&L transformer substation fence and north of a set of railroad tracks.

Mark is located north of a set of tracks runing NNE - WSW and south of PA 641 (Newville Rd.). To reach from center of Carlisle: proceed west on US11 S./PA641 W. to the point where PA 641 splits off to the right under a railroad bridge (locally known as the "subway"). PA 641 makes a sharp turn to the west after passing under the bridge - proceed west for a few hundred yards to a gravel parking area to the left. From there, follow the RR west to the coordinates.
