When I went to school at RIT, this sculpture occupied a space at the entrance of the Saunders College of Business building (Building 10 then, but the academic buildings have since been renumbered). The Saunders Building was an ugly concrete box.

Since then, the Saunders building has been veneered in brick to match all the other buildings in "Brick City". Since then, the Moore sculpture was relocated to a courtyard further north.

PHYSICAL LOCATION:
a courtyard at Rochester Institute of Technology, between the library and buildings 7A and 7B.

DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH:
I've described a location change, but that seems to already be captured in the Smithsonian database, as it describes the sculpture as at the Max Lowenthal Memorial Building. The Lowenthal building is one of the four buildings that frames this courtyard (on the east side).
