The enjoyable tourist town of Luang Prabang has several dated buildings. This particular example is now a vegetarian restaurant, unfortunately closed during my low season visit, but a hit when it is open. The building was constructed in 1965, and since then has seen a great deal of history pass by. It is constructed in the traditional French colonial era style, but is white in colour, not the standard yellow, possibly a modern change. The year is proudly given above the main entrance.
