"Der Umbrailpass (italienisch Giogo di Santa Maria, rätoromanisch Pass da l'Umbrail, früher nach der deutschen Bezeichnung von Bormio auch Wormser Joch genannt) ist ein Schweizer Gebirgspass. Er liegt auf einer Höhe von 2'501 m ü. M. und ist damit der höchste Strassenpass der Schweiz. Das Schild am Pass gibt eine Höhe von 2'503 m ü. M. an, weil sich jedoch der Bezugspunkt für Höhenmessungen in der Schweiz geändert hat, ist nach dem aktuellen Messverfahren die geringere Höhenangabe korrekt.
