The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is located at 1800 N. Congress Ave. The corner where the cornerstone is located is in the northeast corner, near Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., where it intersects with N. Congress Ave. The cornerstone is a large, smooth, red granite block inscribed with text that has been blackened to give better visible contrast with the natural black specs in the granite. As is stated on the stone, the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas was instrumental in setting this cornerstone in place.
