This Rivet is in Walderslade Woods, which is not the name of the woods, it is the name of the road. This road runs alongside the M2 motorway, but there is a narrow wood between the M2 and this location. When i was there the other day, this small woodland was awash with bluebells, and looked very pretty.
The Rivet is on top of the concrete block at the end of the crash barrier, almost opposite Impton Lane. The area roadside is bit overgrown with Brambles, however, you can enter the wooded area about 10m away and then access is a lot easier to reach and see the rivet. When i went it was covered with a layer of leaves, so you may have to brush this off to see it.
