The very popular path from Hawkshead to Latterbarrow crosses this wooden footbridge over Blackbeck.

The wooden bridge has been replaced with new fencing around the public path to keep tourists on the path, which is now gravelled but was boggy field. The approach on the other side is still muddy with puddles. There is also a gate now.
