The boat ramp has a small breakwall to protect it from strong winds & to a lesser extent, ocean swells.

There is a sandy bottom at the end of the ramp so fishermen can hop out & hold their boat as they wait for their mate to reverse the trailer. The trailer parking area is very large given that it was cleared initially to allow a nuclear power plant to be built. Thankfully sanity prevailed & much of Jervis Bay is now a marine sanctuary & the surrounding bush a national park.

There are toilets in the parking area but no fish cleaning tables or wash down areas as the boat ramp & parking area are in Booderee National Park.

There is a solar powered light at the end of the breakwall so if experienced & your boat has a GPSr, you could use the facility at night.

You need to be aware of the sanctuary zones as there are heavy fines for fishing in protected waters.
