The corten steel plates stand 16 feet tall, not counting the base, and is accented with stainless steel cables. It was commissioned as art of the Port of Rochester rehabilitation, in anticipation of the Rochester Fast Ferry between Rochester and Toronto. (visit link) The ferry project was short-lived, but we have an annual Harbor Festival, and frequent visits from the Tall Ships from around the world, so it is still appropriate art for this location.
