Be here the Saturday night before Easter and they ring them all at once for all they are worth.(pealing of the bells) Lots'a noise! I have heard them myself. It is in celebration of the Resurrection of Christ.
Not all the bells have ropes to the ground level so on such special events ropes are strung outside the church to the ground to ring them.
