In the middle of the entrance to New Hall Close stands the Dymchurch war memorial. It is made from sandstone and is on a plinth.

This memorial is a simple, Celtic cross design in its own small garden. It is surrounded by a low wall with chain-link on the top. It is accessed via some steps at the road entrance. There are a few small borders with some shrubs and seasonal colour.
The inscriptions read:
