At the end of Crabtree Lane in the small village of Westhumble and Boxhill there is a bridleway that leads away from this dead end road. The trig point takes its name from Crabtree Cottages which is half way along Crabtree Lane.
The trig is located a few feet off the bridleway at the corner of a large field. I visited this as well as finding the local geocache GC3BYEF, which is linked to this trig point. The trig is in good condition.
Please do not park along the lane, use the car park near the end of the lane instead.
