This Benchmark is just inside the railroad/highway right-of-way fence on the east side of Utah Highway 257 north of Milford.

Described by National Geodetic Survey 1970.

4.4 miles south from Black Rock.
4.4 miles south along the Union Pacific Railroad from the station at Black Rock, 98 feet south of milepole 595, 89.5 feet west of the west rail, 41 1/2 feet east of the center line of State Highway 257, 8.4 feet east of a fence, 28 feet south of the center line of a road east to tracks, 18 1/2 feet south-southeast of the south end of a gate, 1.2 feet south of a witness post, about 2 1/2 feet lower than the track, about level with the highway, and set in the top of a concrete post projecting 0.3 foot above the ground.
