The Kavanaugh and Shea Building at 403 College was part of a Thematic Multiple Submission to the National Register - Territorial Buildings in Downtown Alva.
The Kavanaugh and Shea Building was built in 1901 in a Plains commercial style. It is a two story red brick commercial building and similar in style to the adjacent buildings. The building served as a mercantile company on its first floor and professional offices on the second during territorial years. It currently has a store on its first floor.
The building appears to be in good condition.
